Tips Beli @ Pilih Hood dan Hob

Next target is hunting for Hood, Hobs and Microwave.

Based on survey di beberapa kedai and Mr Google. Ade few consideration and tips semasa nk membuat pilihan beli pilih hood ni :

1. Kena tgk suction power hood tersebut,  makin tinggi suction power hood tersebut semakin mahal harganya. Ikot teori kalau semakin tinggi, semakin kuat la dia sedut minyak and asap2 tu. 

2. After sale service and service level provided by the company 

3. Since kita ni orang asia and most of the time kita masak jenis goreng-goreng, so cari hood yang cater for such cooking style. Kalau nk pakai mcm English style and branded mcm orang western yang kurang menggoreng nie, secara practicalnya memang tak effective. Korang buleh narrow selection kepada china based product, malaysian made ker, xpon based on survey dalam internet, Taiwan based product lar.

6. Warranty period and covered untuk warranty tu.

Untuk Hobs, 

1. Tgk technology burning yang ada pada hobs. Ada design hobs yang memberikan burning effect yang effective thus dapat menjimatkan gas dan dapat mencepatkan pemanasan.

2. Focus more on warranty period and coverage warranty tersebut. Ade certain company tak cover tempered glass hob tersebut. So tanya betul2 pada salesperson tu sedetails yang mungkin.

3. Mudah untuk maintenance atau untuk mencuci. Disebabkan minyak tumpah dan sebagainya. 

4. Size pon matters jugak, tgk kepada penggunaan masing2 and make sure korang consult dgn pengguna yang akan menggunakan benda nie, sebab feedback kaum hawa adalah yang terbaik in term of practicality.

Based on survey di internet and di beberapa kedai, we decided to narrow our selection to Fotile, Eletrolux, Rinnai and Elba. Tapi lepas review and look into our budget kami decided untuk ambik the following model.

Untuk harga pulak, agak sukar nk disclose sebab semua dah under package yang menarik. Aku beli sink dengan kitchen tap pon kat kedai yang sama and terbeli pulak microwave sebab bini aku nk. HArga aku rasa reasonable and dapat set cutlery FOC lagi. 

Kitchen Cabinet (selection of Tile)

Initial plan kitorang nk beli tile di Houz Depot, memang matching habis. Ni ada few sample yang ku snap. Ikut survey yang aku buat, Houz Depot memang carry branded tiles jugak at lower then market kalau ada Sale. But unfortunately disebabkan budget constraint terpaksa kami mengubah selera ke tempat lain.

Tile untuk kitchen kami, kitorang beli di area Kajang, sekitar Jalan Reko with a remarkable mark down price. Kitorang dapat harga yang agak murah untuk ni. Aku rasa berbaloi gi sana beli. Buleh berjam2 pilih tile kt kedai nie sebab everything under 1 roof. Most of the kedai tiles we have visited akan jual murah kalau ada stock, kalau xde stock price akan mahal sebab diorng kena reorder. Korang nk yang China made, India made, Indon made atau Malaysian made, semua ada. Try to negotiate untuk dapatkan harga murah sket, kalau nk beli bnyak diorg ada provide delivery service with a minimum fees, kalau tak salah aku RM30 kot. Sila retained receipt in case kalau nk tambah lagi tile with special price buleh tunjuk receipt lama, then diorg akan bagi price yang sama.
Tip : kalau nk survey tu, better tanya stock level position sekali.

Kitchen Cabinet.. Part 1

Kitchen cabinet, aku engaged dgn Dapurku ID jugak sebab diorng ni specialized in kitchen cabinet sebenarnya tapi kitorang make use of their skills on designing the house as well as layout plan rumah. Sebab ape diorang? Reason being, they are very professional, flexible, easy to deal with, transparent and most important is budget fit. Anyway, untuk golongan org mcm kami ni, budget is the main constaint la. They will explain kat korang ape material yang diorng pakai, sebab ape mahal, quality level, and kalau korang nk less quality pon ade jer, tapi diorang akan explain sebab ape murah dan akan cuba buat ikut budget korang. Kami suka dgn approach yang Asharida – their designer (a.k.a : Kak Asha), she can articulate, put herself in our shoe and designed the kitchen based on our preferences and practicality of a kitchen area. Any challenges, dia akan consult dulu dgn kitorang and proposed/recommend the best solution. Anyway, ni design kitchen kami, after due consideration kami decided to remove toilet di area kitchen tu and kekalkan structure yang lain sebab sayang nk buang banyak sangat.

Serah Kunci Rumah Baru

The house that we bought is in Cheras area. Kunci kami dapat pada 30 June 2013, setelah delay about almost 6 months than expected date. Mula2 masa handover of the keys tu, make sure jgn sebarangan sign surat semasa penyerahan kunci dibuat. Make sure revisit balik SPA korang before ke develepor office nk ambik kunci. Kira any cost of delays on our part as a purchaser ad their as the developer. Make sure semua invoice yang diorg bil tu betul ke tidak, some time delays documentation yang bukan sebab purchaser pon developer charged. So make sure checked betul2 invoice tu and mintak justification dari diorg. Macam kes kami, kami entitle for Liquidate Ascertain Damaged sebab developer lambat deliver project. Ada jugak penalty charged sebab lambat bagi documentation kat lawyer, dalam RM1,000 jugak. So mintak clarification dan pastikan prepare la cheque untuk payment semua cost untuk penyerahan kunci.  Bila dah buat payment untuk deposit air, deposit electric, maintenance fee (if applicable) dgn settlement of any late penalty charges, baru korang dapat kunci ni. 

Our Renovation Journey.. 1st Posting..

Alhamdulillah… This is going to the 1^st posting for this site.. Frankly, aku xde la seorang yang suka menulis, jejari aku ni sangat la malas nk menaip keyboard nie.. Tapi atas rasa nk share with the all the bloggers, forummer and kaki survey internet specifically untuk those people yang survey pasal house renovation or kitchen cabinet, renovate rumah atau interior design. This is totally bukan untuk menunjuk2, kita nk share supaya semua orang dapat information and this is also a learning processes, anything yang aku post which maybe contradictory in facts please let me know and shore with all the surfers..
